Booker founded CBR Public Relations 30 years ago, earning statewide and national accreditation nearly immediately. She has served as international vice president of IPREX, a worldwide consortium of leading public relations firms, and is a past president and board member of the Orlando chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association. Booker currently serves on the board of the Central Florida Regional Health Information Organization (RHIO).

Reporters consider Booker, a former broadcaster, a trusted resource and advocate for objective journalism. Her extensive experience includes serving as spokesperson for the nation's leading fast-food restaurant, Central Florida's largest automotive group and a regional airport.

Booker has served as an adjunct professor at Rollins College, her alma mater.
